it's just not feng shuei and chit you know..
the nice round roof line, then that squared off beam.. (and now i looked at it more, the square house under the roof bugs me too).. For me, it's a failed execution of a great idea. It looks more like a technology/material demo then an architectural masterpiece. That roof should (and i'm sure can be) have been made self supporting, the building under it, should have been more in tune with the roof.. The lines just don't flow nicely once you start to look at the details.. Now Niemeyer, has every angle covered. Everything flows. it's complete, in and out.   His designs are second to none.
