That's probably the safest thing you can do. It's going to break when you try to move it. That is enough thick glass and enough weight to really do some damage to your legs/hands/feet when it lets go.

You could try a carboy sling from a local homebrew shop, but I doubt they are rated for that kind of weight. I really dont think you could tip it enough to get the sling on without the neck breaking off. Be careful with that, man. You can google 'broken carboy pics' and see some folks who were lucky to not bleed out on their floors after shattering these things.
