anyone wanna play catch? yes, they are what they look like they are. anyone have any info on these? had an x seal and an x special forces guy check them out before I played with them too much. might make a shift knob for my rat rod and didn't want to scratch the paint if it exloded

As someone that deals with that stuff on a daily basis, I'd say you should contact the closest EOD unit. Old ordnance can be quite dangerous and unstable, especially foreign stuff. Even a current SEAL or Special Forces would not be able to tell you if those are safe or not. As far as I can tell in the pic, they are an old japanese mortar and hand grenade of WWII vintage. As far as live or inert, no way to tell from my perspective. They need to be checked out in person by an expert.
