Purchased a bunch of Crotons today along with some other plants that were shipped up from south florida. Was looking up/browsing some of the varieties and came upon this one: "Irene Kingsley" - I really really want (raccoon pic).....



I did get some of the variety "Stoplight" which are very nice and get that deep red coloration.

Another version of the same (Irene Kingsley) variety......now that's spectacular Croton!

Thanks Max - but to clarify - those plants are not mine.

Found those pics on the Internet of a variety called "Irene Kingsley" that I added to my short wish list.

I do have a pretty good Croton collection though....

I've never been able to establish a good crouton collection. They all either end up moldy, or on a salad. I find that the home made ones are the best, but sometimes you just don't have time.

Ha - never heard that one before....

Actually in college my roommate and I had slang terms for our food items and we called our croutons crotons.
