Eek.
I landed late one night after a night vision goggle hop, taxied in and shut down. One of the mechs and I started our post flight checks. As I looked inside the port intake I could clearly see the blood streak of a bird that been flying form with me for about a non-second. There were never any indications of trouble on the engine instruments. We did boroscope the engine the next day. Quote:
