And it says it's a 348! Old time hotrodding at it's best (or worst, depending on your point of view)

Isn't the 348 a W-head big-block motor (smaller version of the 409)?

That frog-eye sprite is just wonderful, looks like a lot of fun. That house must be made of steel, cant believe it has no big hole in it.

Well that's pretty amusing...backwards into what appears to be a very solid house. Must have been an interesting ride!

The guy must have had some pretty good speed going. The impact point is pretty much level with the ground! And yeah, what the hell is that house made out of? I investigate vehicle-building crashes as part of my business and I can't say I've ever seen one where the car just bounced off the wall!

The passenger side front hit first, then the rear hit the ground causeing the car to filp on to the roof.

Maybe it's reinforced concrete masonry with concrete filled cells then a stucco finish.
Good enough to withstand hurricane Katrina.
So it would probably stand up to that car?
Plus the impact is at the floor line is where the internal structure would be greatest.
It also appears that the impact was oblique due to the hub cap or wheel impression.

I hydroplaned into a German house doing about 40mph while I was stationed there. It totaled my 82 Mustang GT & broke a ceramic gutter on the home. I handed the owner 100 Marks & he kept the Polizie off my back.

The house looks like its made from good old concrete, pretty common in some parts of Europe. A friends place I stayed at in Belgium seemed to have very similar construction, with foot thick concrete walls. Also the car is a small Citroen, a properly flimsy piece of junk!
