Sammy, all those ladies from the old shows were LADIES, and dressed the part. I doubt many teenage boys lusted after Mrs. Cleaver. Lots of pertty ladies in the old TV shows but none that really caused lust until I dream of Jeanie. Lots of teenage boys had dreams about Jeanie.

Sandra Dee was a teen heart throb around that time, but girls were more ladylike back then (Debbie Reynolds.... aaaaahhhhh).
They didn't start getting all slutted out until the next couple of generations.

Yea, when married couples slept in twin beds and the word pregnant was not fit to be on the air, the ladies like Miss Kitty on Gunsmoke who ran a whore house and saloon would only kiss Marshall Dillion on the cheek.
