'Zactly the same temp earlier here, Pete. Lucky we didn't get the wind that they were promising, because the projected wind chill at dawn today was going to be -51 F. That's right, -51. I would have needed my ear muffs. No matter, we're off to take the dogs for a nice long walk in the woods, now that it's warmed up to -15 F.

Our temps today, mid 70s.
I saw one of these while I was walking the dogs yesterday. Beautiful little cars, and they sound good too. Reminds me of an Italian miata coupe ![]() While walking the dogs, I also saw an Elise, a Ferrari and ![]() I see at least one Lambo and one Ferrari every weekend. It seems weird that they are starting to seem commonplace (except for the sound). Last weekend I saw a Carrera GT which was a bit of a surprise. I lose count of all of the Porsches that I see within 1/4 mile of our apt. Although yesterday I saw a lowered black 997 or 991 with a nice exhaust with a fixed tail that looked like it could have been some form of GT3, but I just caught a glimpse as it drove by.

^^^ Cool dog walking stuff.
Here such cars, which are only to be found in the biggest cities of course, are 100% packed in mothballs for the duration of road salt season. This is one reason that such excellent cars are to be found in Canada - they can only be driven for 6 months of the year. Same with the number of bikes here. Quebec, with the weather way below zero right now, boasts more motorcycles per capita than most any other place you can name. What is rare and special is most desired. Random: ![]()
