How about

I think I saw this car at a World's Fair. Is that possible?

Here's an easy one.

Here's a hard one...

Not car related but still a good one.

Farewell BREN, We Hardly Knew Ye : Atomic Toasters

Quote:
During the heyday of nuclear testing, a giant tower was built out in the Nevada desert so an unshielded reactor could be placed at the top in order to see just how much radiation made it to the ground. The BREN tower was the tallest man made structure in the US that nobody knew about...............................

The tower was built in 1962 in the Yucca Flat testing area. Its height of 1,527 ft was designed to match the altitude Little Boy exploded over Hiroshima, and a simulated village was constructed at the base of the tower. Constructed of fifty-one 30 ft sections, the tower was higher than the Empire State Building, and designed to withstand winds exceeding 120 mph. There was an outside hoist to lift scientific equipment, and a two-person elevator inside.

"Caveat Emptor!" I think us oldfux learned that phrase from that episode.

You guys are on a tear!

We have a local TV station called ME TV which stands for Memorable TV. They do a superb job at showing a lot of the old shows.

I used to come home every day at noon to eat lunch and watch "The Rockford Files". After they ran through all the episodes....and some of them twice...they switched that time slot to "The Big Valley" - which I have thoroughly been enjoying.

Now they are showing "Kolchak - The Night Stalker" on Sun. nights at 10pm.

I just watched the first one night before last - the Jack The Ripper one.

I learned that...I also learned that I really wanted to fix up a car. I was also frustrated when they sent the car to the junk yard...I was sure I could have fixed it.

That used to air on Friday nights at 9pm. It used to freak me out as a kid. The scariest one was the Gitchee Manitou.

Nicely played Bry. Your reward is the most difficult decision known to man...you can have either of these but not both.

You're hitting many of the TV shows from my youth! I remember "The Night Stalker" scaring the crap out of me - especially "The Headless Motorcycle Rider". I've seen Me TV but unfortunately it's not part of our provider package.

The whole Kolchak series is also on Netflix Streaming. Or at least it was last year, I assume it still is this year, but you never know.
