It was some $300K+ 2 seater Ferrari.

"The vehicle failed to make the first turn (no surprise there) and continued straight into the woods. It then went airborne for 40 feet, flipped over in the air, and landed facing the way it went in, but on its side, down a 40-foot ravine.

Amazingly, the three occupants in the vehicle suffered only minor injuries; however, the driver was later arrested for driving under the influence."

Anyone else notice that cops go after cop killers with a whole lot more "enthusiasm" than they would if one of us was killed?
A few years ago in So Cal they were shooting at random, hitting innocent civilians just in case one of them MIGHT be the cop killer.
Different rules apply and if that does't make you nervous you aren't paying attention.

This guy set out to ambush and kill a cop for no reason other that BLM ideas or something equally stupid. I strongly suspect that when they caught up with him, he didn't cooperate, and probably fought tooth and nail until they subdued him. I suspect he's not the kind of guy that would go "oh, ok, you got me. I'll go peacefully now."

This is what happens when a woman and her daughter try to deliver newspapers around cowardly cops.

The bad guy was driving a gray chevy, this was obviously a blue toyota, so the cowards shot over 100 rounds into it just in case.
Had to reload a couple times.
And they got away with it!
Quote:
Officials deliberated for months on whether policy was violated, and sources told the Times that “a panel of high-ranking” officials urged Beck to clear the officers.
The official report said the cops were "feeling incredible tension".

The next day they burned the bag guy alive, using a type of tear gas rounds that almost always cause fires so they are not ordinarily used in buildings.

Judge, jury, executioners.
WHO"S NEXT?

And next they'll have 5000 cops screwing up traffic through the whole city in a funeral procession, many on OVERTIME, for someone they never met and never heard of until she got shot.

Who hoo, day off with pay!
I wonder how much that costs.

Yes......I noticed.

In this particular case, this scum bag had shot and killed his pregnant girlfriend weeks before he shot the cop. It made the news and he was wanted for murder, but after he shot the cop, his face was on the news 24/7 - even posted at the bottom of the news cast - like a "crawler".

They also upped the reward for his capture to over $100K.

There was another cop - a motorcycle cop, who was killed during the investigation - he somehow got tangled up with a motorist - but since he was involved in the investigation - his death was also linked in with the other cop's death....which gave the impression this scum bag was responsible for the deaths of two cops. Which seemed to be a stretch to me.

So yeah - double standard.

I don't like seeing cops get killed and am glad they caught the scum bag and hope they fry him.

I'd be surprised if ANYONE really believed that.

While the capture of a murder suspect, especially one wanted for allegedly killing his pregnant girlfriend and a police officer, makes riveting news, it's important to distinguish the difference between a "murder suspect" and a "convicted murderer." And, most importantly, it's important to remember that our courts determine guilt, not police officers.

At this point, what happened after Loyd put his guns down Tuesday night, to when he arrived at Orlando Police Headquarters is vague at best, and we should be asking questions about the situation surrounding his bloody face.

What we shouldn't be doing is cheering that a suspect, not a convicted criminal, was beaten to the point he's still in the hospital.
