Some pics from a little trip my wife and I took today
Included are two pics of my gramma's house in Ch"town where I used to visit 65 years ago. She lived there with her older sister. Their apt never changed one bit since I was a wee boy. Still even has the same "old house smells" from that time.
Margaret and Minnie, lovely old ladies. My gramm lived to be 98 and I think Minnie maybe a bit older. Brought back strong memories.   Other pics:

I hear that Justin wants to remake that statue of John A Macdonald so that the hat is open for donations to reduce the deficit....
 Funny how smells can be such a powerful memory trigger. I was out to a cottage belonging to a cousin of mine and it smelled exactly the way it did when I visited as a boy.

Location: Placerville, CA.... You know, the only place on Highway 50 between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe the you find signal lights. Above the fog most of the time and I can see the stars of the Milky Way 8 out of 10 nights. Kinda cool.....
