I know it's all over the interwebs, but color me skeptical. Super cereal skeptical.
Anyone who has actually pushed a car in real life knows what I mean.
Know what I mean?

the story says it took 2-1/2 hours. That's a 2 mph average.
Most people could not WALK 5 miles in 2-1/2 hours.
They must have had lots and lots of long downhill sections where they jumped on and rode.

Note that it says 5 miles, but in the little caption on the right it was 5km.

HMMMM, maybe we are on to something here .......

See that;s what happens when you go all metric. Everything gets screwed up.
Who knows, maybe they were talking about IMPERIAL miles?

Average walking speed of humans is ~3mph.
And if it was 5km, not miles, then I can see pushing a Cobalt that far in 2.5 hours.
That'd only be 1km per hour-ish.

But you're correct, hills would cetainly help...as long as it was DOWNhill.

Random...from August 2018. I was driving where the red blob is.

Actually there are many Miles in the phone book and, there are many miles of roadway but they choose to measure them using the metric system...

Average walking speed (assuming you're walking and not staring at your phone is 4 mph (but that's a pretty decent walk). So I could easily walk 5 miles in 75 mins (not while pushing a car).

Still, yeah, 5 km vs 5 mi, big difference (3 mi vs 5 mi)

I could maybe see 3 teens (those 3?) pushing car fast enough to do it in 2.5 hours.

Interesting...I grew up in Tucson and never once have seen a dust storm anything like this. The only place I've EVER seen one (aside from the Middle East) was Mesa.
