 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King_Nine_Will_Not_Return A Twilight Zone episode loosely based on an actual missing B-24 aircraft and crew. The Lady Be Good took off on her last mission in 1943 and was found in the Lybian desert 16 years later. Lady Be Good engine and prop on display at AF Wright Patterson Museum.
