Sammyg - my bad - that is in fact a Cordoba which does have leaf springs. When I first saw the pic on my cell phone, immediately thought a Grand National, but just signed in on my big-screen corn-putr.

I'll just sign off now...……………..

You young kids nowadays have no idea how cool and exciting cars used to be.
Zero to 60 in 13 seconds, 25 mpg, and the styling, awesome!

Olds Omega. 2.5L of fury. Could be had with a 2.8L.

Chevy's version of ^^

But mine was one of these. It didn't have the cool wheels. It did have the 2.8L 60* V-6, bucket seats, manual trans and full guages.

I had one of those POS's myself. Didn't have the V6, but rather the "Iron Puke" 2.5L 4. Bought it new in late 79 since it showed such promise for an American car of that period. I never thought that I'd be happy having my car stolen, but some idiot actually relieved me of my troubles. I saw it parked on the street, a couple months later, in a town near where it was stolen. I was going to report it, but I figured the thief already had enough punishment, and I didn't want it back. Looked like this, but black on the bottom.

Hahahah. I was lucky enough to have the X-11 AND an Olds Omega. The Omega had the Iron Puke and an automatic. It was horrible.
