btw, they looks half decent with a black paint and clear lip :

Spent the last two months 2 miles away from that resort. Its really progressing fast and while looks fantastic now, will look very nice in a year or so. You should see it from the air!

I just wish there was a more cost effective donor to get the transverse v-twin. I may have to make do with a XS650 or the like.

Honda did one , CX500 and 650 ,"twisted twin"
Shaft drive too. They were pushrod and the cylinder orientation was twisted to get the induction away from the knees,
Water cooled tho.
