Oshkosh accident... Can't say what happened for sure since the hearing has not occured yet. I will speculate - from what I understand is that the RV was cleared in front of the TBM at some point and he never saw it. Taxied behind it for quite some time thinking he was following a high wing staying at a safe distance. The TBM does not "S-turn" really well, visibility is for ****, and the taxiway is not all that wide. Mix one of the smallest aircraft in front of that and you have a real potential for problems.

I just can't believe it happened to one of the most safety conscious pilots I have had the pleasure to fly with. He and I have spent many hours in tight formation (even formation acro) and I am 100% comfortable with him on my wing or vice-versa. Unbelieveable...

Sorry for the slight off topic. Carry on.

I remember that submarine ad like it was just yesterday. The only problem is that I can't remember the real yesterday!

Yes, I had one. P.OS., cardboard don't remember much about it. Think I left it out in the rain.

Have owned a cat and tri-cat and loved both of them. Take a look into sailing and you might just get hooked!
