I probably wouldn't have laughed as hard if it wasn't the name of an institution of higher learning that was misspelled on these shirts.

Indeed they are. But I liked them better when they were trees.

Those carvings are much better thant the 8 foot tall Penis a guy carved here locally. The punchline was that a nieghbor got angry and you guessed it set it on fire. Now it's a giant 8 foot black penis.

If you fly you know most of what you need to know. It's all about low pressure and how a wing reacts to it.

Sailing is a GREAT sport and sailing Cats is the ultimate in performance sailing. You simply have no idea until you've been on a cat in 20 knot winds. Pure adrenaline.

I bought this cat not long ago with trailer for $1200. It was like new. It could have been in one of those comic book ads as it was sold (originally) as a kit. The new owner had to assemble it. Probably a weekend of work.

SLO-BOB... the reason I said cats were suddenly of interest was Kach22's comment about the book "Two Girls, Two Catamarans - by James Wharram"

But in honesty, sailing has been something that I have been thinking about since last summer. The biggest things holding me back are (a) cost of leaving it in a slip vs. PITA of trailering, setup, etc and (b) I have owned a boat in the past and it got very little regular use and therefore became a money pit every time I touched it.

While pictures like this make me want a fast little cat, part of me thinks that something like this would be more practical for me and my wife.

Can you safely sail a 20 footer to the Bahamas??
(I guess you can equate that to "Can you fly a 172 to the Bahamas?" You can, but... would you really want to?)

Funniest line of all time! I can't get the image out of my mind and I'm LMAO.

Then, there's this:

Cash-I'm more of a Great Lakes sailor, but I wouldn't be anxious to sail too far on any ocean in the pictured boat. The smallest boat of that type I would own, which I did, is a 30'. It was convenient to drive down to the harbor and sail, but it's still work. Lots of maintenance and up-keep aka work. I live just off the beach so I can dump the cat on the sand and be wet within 30 minutes.

A nice small boat-

1 foot-itis is a serious disease. Started with a Prindle cat, and ended up here with 5 stops in between:
