SPEED TV...speeding to the *****-house!

Anyone watch the Petit LeMans (Road Atlanta) on SPEED yesterday?

It seems the major domos at the network, deemed a full 10 hours of ALMS coverage would be too much for the hillbillies in their demographic. So they cut the coverage with....what else....NASTYCAR trux, and other related crap! You ended up with about 5 hours of ALMS program. Sheet man! I'm gonna pull the plug on those left-turning bastards pretty soon!

And...note to SPEED announcer/screamer, Leigh Diffey..... Ron Fellows is from CANADA.....*not* CANADER.
You're getting very tiresome.....mate!

Speed TV seems to have a pattern. During the week, it's NASCAR almost all the time. The good stuff (F1, WRC, bikes, ALMS, touring cars, etc) is on on the weekends and nights. Which is when I tend not to be watching. I think a time-shifter aka TIVO would help here.

Yeah, they wouldn't dare think of splitting up a NASCRAP event with anything interesting. They did redeem themselves a lttle with the Adelaide vintage rally coverage. That was pretty darn cool.

Adelaide was excellent.

they should just call themselves what they are: the NASCAR channel. now that the F1 season is over, it will only give them grounds for more hillbilly motorsports. (egads) sure, I love all forms of motorsports, but give me a break. the irony is that there is such a huge variey of other types of motorsports out there which most of us are yearning for, yet they choose to overlook this type of programming for a very vital part of their audience

I caught the Adelaide Rally late sat. night. Very interesting cars competing. The RSR that won the event made it look easy, very fast, very smooth never a wrong step. Quite a few 911's in the top ten.

My cable company finally get SPEED TV about a month before it went all NASCAR all the time. So I had a month of good motorsports TV, then it all went to NASCRAP.

I pretty much gave up on Speed when they dumped most of the motorcycle programming and became the "All NASCAR, All the Time" station.

For the sake of me I cannot fathom enough useful, interesting broadcast content coming from a race series that is so archaic.

Turn left only, push rod engines with carbs, don't run in the rain ... please, that ain't racin'.

one thing I learned in life, nothing good ever lasts, and I used to consider Speedvision a pretty good thing

Did you know that NASCRAP like stock cars run clockwise (right turns) down in the southern hemishere (Australia and New Zealand)
Yes, Speedvision programming is getting pretty lame, there's enough NASCAR coverage on the major networks
