Nice place to live (not)

http://www.cnn.com/2003/US/Southwest/11/04/highway.gunfight/index.html

This "gray Dodge Caravan" was found 4 miles from my house.

Lovely.

Time to go clean the Remington 12-ga.

It gets better:

"undocumented immigrants"

Remington's are nice, I've got a 12G myself. But, what one needs when the poo hits the fan is a real rifle. I like M-14's with 20 round clips. If someone is trying to kill you you might as well be able to defend yourself. Plus they look awesome in the back window.

That's scary stuff.

This punches big holes in things. The finish will earn you bonus bling points, too! :D

Is that a .45 acp? I've got a 1991 model colt loaded with 215 grain hollow points, helluva exit hole.

Adam 11-04-2003 04:22 PM

.50AE (Action Express)

"The victims have not been identified, but Valenzuela said they appeared to be undocumented immigrants. He did not know if they were men or women.

Another two people with gunshot wounds were found nearby and taken to ..."

'Scuse this old goat please...but when did illegal aliens become undocumented immigrants???

It was back in the sixties when the lefties took over the media

These are my choices for home protection:

http://www.heckler-koch.de/html/english/behoerden/02_submachineguns/02_03_index.html

The briefcase version is quite convenient and the supressed version is good if you need to use it in a confined space

BlueSkyJaunte 11-04-2003 06:52 PM

I stick with Tupperware. Glock model 22.

Remington 870 is backup.

Harlan Chinn 11-04-2003 06:55 PM

This one would be great out the sunroof of a pepper wagon

cassisrot 11-04-2003 07:21 PM

We could use the pepper wagon as a perimeter scout vehicle. But first we do the concertina and the claymores.

The Glock and the H&K's are real nice weapons, but I do like big bullets. 7.62's, .45's and the best I have had the honor and privilege of using, The fifty caliber machine gun.

BlueSkyJaunte 11-05-2003 05:12 AM

OK, you've convinced me. A Pfefferwagen with an HK23E wouldn't be so bad.

So there IS a time when one might want a Pfefferwagen. Though you may end up disabling the enemy through abdominal spasms induced by uncontrollable laughter when they see you...

I would love to see a zero tolerance policy on guns. If a person commits a crime with a gun then they go to jail for life. If they also happen to kill one or more people with said gun then they too will be exectuted - immediately. F**k em. Lousy cowards.

My personal favorite...

Colt Combat Elite:

Rick, Ol sam makes real nice guns, purty too. Is the combat elite a .45? Is it accurized?

LeeH 11-05-2003 07:28 PM

My wife commutes on that route. Last month she drove from Phoenix to Tucson and back four days each week. Maybe I can pick her up a new ride at the Wells Fargo surplus armored car auction.
