lost key
My kid lost the only key to her 95 BMW 318 is there a way to get a key from the dealer through the vin# or something like that??

Not sure about BMW, but a locksmith friend can cut a keyn for just about any "modern" car based on year/make/model/vin - so it should be possible.

The dealer should be able to do it with the VIN. You'll have to go and show a title, registration or insurance card (depending on dealership) before they'll order it.
