I won an item on Ebay on April 1st, and paid with Paypal the same day. After two weeks the funds are still unclaimed and the seller does not respond to emails. Paypal says they can only cancel the transaction if recipient does not have an email account, which he apparently does. I am thinking that the only way to recover the funds is to dispute the transaction with my credit card company. Any other solutions?

Paypal customer service cannot help, i'm sure there are other similar situations?
Double check if you have the correct email addy...just in case. You can request from ebay a contact number of the person so you can call and work this out too... |

As blogic said, use the member information utility on eBay to see if you can get some contact information (Tele # ).
PayPal will return the payment to your account if not claimed within 30 days. No response from this person may be a sign of a life event that has gotten in the way. Also, look at the most recent feedback postings for the seller - maybe there is a clue there.

I would be more worried if the funds had been claimed, and nothing more heard.
PayPal is owned by eBay now. They will usually work together to resolve it somehow.
