Renting a Maserati in Vegas, where to drive?

As long as the insurance issue gets worked out, I'll be renting the Maserati Spyder Cambriocorsa for a day later this month from rent-a-vette. The wife loves this car and I love the hints of Ferrari under the hood.

So, given that we have it for a day, where should we drive? I'd like to keep the milage near the 100mile limit, but don't mind going a bit over if it's for good use.

Any good "safe" straights with limited cop coverage, how about some twisties or a nice skid pad to test out the handeling... drool....

Well, for the straights, you could jump on I 15, going to Primm (aka State Line Nev/Cali). Thats about 60 miles round trip.

You could also go and ride up thru Red Rock Canyon, nice little twisties there.

Or, jump on the 95 North , you have a nice straight road on the way to Mt Charlston, of which has some twisty roads, once you get up into the mountains. I think that trip could be under 100 miles ( a guesstament).

As for the limited cop coverage, it is less as you get out of town, but still, as in anywhere, you know they could be hiding.

Try the Valley of Fire. North on 15 toward Utah exit on 169. Scenic & interesting road.

Of course, its is a park & speed limits might be enforced . . .
