Is that Hawaii? It looks like either Hawaii or San Diego, and the smog is tough to tell apart...

The radio tower in the background gives away the location of the barge... er... I mean the USS Heinz shot. Sutro Tower.

For one Harrier, yes. Sing, do you mean Sutro Tower, San Francisco? I'm not convinced -- the skyline looks more like Waikiki. But then, you've seen a lot more skylines than I have, so ... Ok, now I'm curious, what's a Navy jet doing in San Fran? Dan

My guess is that the Tomcat was being delivered to the former NAS Alameda for a post guardian. That is the breakwater at Alameda. I had a boat at Ballena Bay (right next door) for years. That is the view of SFO from the East Bay.

Think of being at Oakland airport looking at Candlestick. The tanks are the gas / water tanks in whats' called China Basin, if I remember right. The Bay Bridge anchorage and city skyline would be farther right of this view.

"No, he has not cut military benefits. That is a misrepresentation by democrats." Just gamesmanship. Bush was for resetting combat pay and family support until the uproar caused him to flip flop. And veterans benefits under Bush have been increased in gross dollars but decreased per veteran to the point (01/03) where the VA announced it had to start turning away new applicants over a certain income level.
