Appeal to authority is one of the arguments you learn to dismiss in Logic class. But if you're willing to place your trust in Ms. Clinton....

I prefer to think of them as Weapons of Mass Distraction.

While an appeal to authority is a logical fallacy, it can be a rational argument if, for example, it is an appeal to expert testimony. (an inductive argument.)

Considering that Hillary has access to much of the securtity infromation, regarding this topic, AND could not be construde as being a Bush supporter (though I'm sure she wears one) Hillarys remarks do support Lendaddys (valid)(implied) argument.
