Ow! Reminds me of the time I put a brand new exhaust on my bug. I'd spent an entire day getting the old rust exhaust off, cleaning everything up, and installing the new one. Took it for a test drive, and had to turn around in a parking lot; ended up backing into a curb and tearing the muffler halfway off.

The dream of a lifetime turned into a nightmare for municipal employee Simon Nimmo when he wrote off his brand new 575 F1 "super car" just four minutes after picking it up from the dealership. Municipal employee??????? How much do government workers get paid in England?

Typically the dealership insurance covers you for either 3 or 5 days (don't remember which). I'm sure he's covered somehow. Then again, I'm equally sure there's some carrion-eating adjuster trying to screw him out of getting a dime (sorry, a schilling - he's British).
