Aussie Needs Help - LA Car Rental

Hey guys, I'm heading to LA in November for a few days and need to hire a car. I want something a little different - I don't know what but nothing new and nothing I can get here. Something big. Something convertable. Something American. Do any of you know of any car rental places in LA? Websites I should visit? Thanks, Nick - Sydney | ||

Rent a Wreck on Pico in West L.A.. You can get all that weird American stuff you wrong-side drivers like so much... or a pink Mustang convertible. If the place is the same as it used to be, the owner's cat has to approve you before you can rent from him!

You gotta be able to rent a '59-60 Caddy somewhere in LA ... nothing bigger/convertible/more American than that!

All depends on how much you want to spend but you can get a Corvette or a Viper for a few hundred a day.
