Didn't Don Johnson have a truely wonderful song that got air time back in his Miami Vice days? Speaking of Miami Vice his side kick was one of the BEST actors I've ever seen!

Speaking of celebs that tried their hand in the music biz, lets not forget about Eddie Murphy's smash hit Party All The Time. Man, that was awful.
Muskrat Love (Captain and Tennile) is a terrible rendition, but the original (entitled Muskrat Candlelight) by Willis Alan Ramsey was a good song.

I've never heard of this guy (actually I found this pic on this forum), but I'd be willing to wager that anything on this album is pure crap.

Or how about that other Star Trek alum, Bill Shatner, doing "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds". Makes your skin crawl. And I stand by my Sister Christian vote. Find something redeaming in these lyrics, I dare you; Sister Christian Oh the time has come And you know that you're the only one To say O.K. Where you going What you looking for You know those boys Don't want to play no more with you It's true You're motoring What's your price for flight In finding mister right You'll be alright tonight Babe you know You're growing up so fast And mama's worrying That you won't last To say let's play Sister Christian There's so much in life Don't you give it up Before your time is due It's true It's true yeah Motoring What's your price for flight You've got him in your sight And driving thru the night Motoring What's your price for flight In finding mister right You'll be alright tonight Motoring What's your price for flight In finding mister right You'll be alright tonight (repeat) Sister Christian Oh the time has come And you know that you're the only one To say O.K. But you're motoring You're motoring

More fine material though. Anything that shows up on Dr. Demento is OK by me. Now, back to the *really* bad stuff. How about some Night Ranger? |

Asia "Heat of the Moment" is another contender (as vash pointed out). The 80's were full of pompous bands...to me *that* is the ultimate in crapulence. |

Call me a commy bastard but my vote goes to
Lee Greenwood Proud to be an American It came out when I was in AF tech school & the dip **** in the room next to me went off base, bought the loudest stereo he could afford at one of those rent to own rip off stores & proceeded to play it over & over for the next two months. A close second would be Motley Crue Home Sweet Home, the other song he played.
