One April Fool's Day, we fellows in the woodshop staged the amputation of one of the boy's hands on a radial-arm saw. Lot's of screaming and moaning, then ran by the intended target of the prank (secretary) with the accident victim clutching his stump (stew bone) followed by myself with the hand. Flashed her just enough to let her imagination do the rest. Jumped into a car and off we went to the emergency room (bar). She was not amused.

back while i was knee high to a grasshopper, my old man and a neighbor played a very good prank on an uncle of mine.
my uncle just reacently gotten a well needed tune up on his Grand Marque. he was all boasting about how good his gas mileage was and that it hasnt run as well since new. well my old man wanted to see what was all done, so my uncle poped the hood for a look see. while my old man and our neighbor were looking under the hood they asked to hear it run. so inside uncle went to get the keys. the old man and our neighbor quickly attacthed a whisler smoker stick to a power lead wire and a ground. when my uncle started the car it ran perfectly for a few seconds, then all the sudden white smoke and a very loud whistling screaming came from under the hood. my uncle quickly shut the car off and started screaming out obseneties and throwing his hands in the air, while my old man and our neighbor busted out laughing. oh man was that funny to watch

I heard about one some kids did on the highschool rent-a-cop who went way out of his way to be a jerk to every student.
Lossen lugnuts, wait until he comes out to do a smoking burnout, videotape. My friend and I were responsible for the sauce for our french class rumcake. Three teapsoons of 80 proof? Naw, a cup of 151. It went very well in Jolt cola and created an interesting day.

Pretty unimaginative really...but easy to pull off in the late 50's with nothing more than a phone call. Have a gravel truck load dumped in your High School Principal's driveway...
