Well I have read with great interest all the high tech ideas this topic has evoked. My experience was first hand and I really can't say if what I saw was from us or them. My dad and I had gone up to the local dairy queen in Shreveport La. to pick up something to eat and all at once this guy ran in and said hey come look. A bunch of us did and we saw a ufo just sitting still up in the air. Unfortunately I was only about 4 or 5 years old but I know what I saw. It was a large vessel that had different colored lights on the bottom side and they were going round in sequence. If only I had been a little older I would have done whatever necessary to take a picture but since I was so young I remember we just watched it as long as we could. I don't remember if we just drove home and went inside or if we watched as long as we could and then it disapeared. I think it was the later cause if not we would have gone in and told my mom and sister. Only saw this one but I know what I saw and it will ever stay with me. I'm now 47 years old. ben

In regards to all alien looking the same, this was not the case before the invention of television. The reason for the similarities is due to the fact that these insane people see other nuts on TV describe their sighting and then dream about it. Then they wake up and say "oh I was abducted last night."

Do I think there is other life out there? Yes. Do I think they have been here and there are world domination plots? No. Leave the insane assumption to people like tabs. You always make me laugh.

Why we see in many places the pictures of this "UFOs", as an example the Indian "Mayas" had drawings of them on the wall of the caves, same for many other civilizations, according to all this "Proof" they have been around for a very long time, and thats not to mention how the pyramids were build which rumor has it that our aliens friends had something to do with it.

well, once you start grasping how large universe is, it seems pretty arrogant to believe that we are the only living beings. I mean, it's huuuge. As for them visiting us, I don't know. I do think the ancient ruins and runway-like structures and carvings are a little unusual. Aztecs and Mayans sure didn't have tv. Plus, those "runway" sites are so large that from the ground they don' look like much. They are only useful when you're really up high... not sure which civilization invented the hanglider or a balloon, but I'm sure it wasn't the Incas or their neighbors ;)

Did you ever consider that people saw the carvings on the wall on TV then copied those figures. If someone has proof that the same figure showed up on 2 different walls, drawn from 2 completely different civilizations, then I will believe that aliens have been here.

Those "runways" could have been used for many things beside launching spacecraft. From what has been described, the UFO's don't need a runway to take off. They can just shoot straight up.

I guess I meant to say it's a *runway-like* structure in the appearance. Long parallel lines, others intersecting at an angle... they really look like navigation aids.

All I'm saying is that since there is no rational/scientific/historical explanation, then the irrational one cannot be discounted either. At least not until it's refuted.

One thing about this topic that hasn't come up is the value of natural resources to our "friends" from abroad.

My belief is that they need our planets resources?. Some crashed due to alien driving fup's or because we shot them down. It's the Old saying.......if you dont understand it - or feel threatened by it - shoot it down- ask questions later?.

My point is that this world is Large and full of resources that may be valueable to life of a different world.

Our Earth cannot be the only planet with life.

"The Interupted Journey" came out in the mid 1960's. The book documented the Betty and Barney Hill abduction case of 1962. This was the first incident of abduction that made it to the natioanl conscience.

The Hills were on their way home early one morning in New Hampshire..when they saw lights and when they got home they were missing several hours. Over several month they had distrubing dreams etc and sought Psychiatric help. THe MD treated them using hypnosis, from which their story emerged. The Hills were the first one to describe the Aliens as being smal Grey like creatures.

The one odd thing is that Betty Hill drew a Star map while under hypnosis of the routes the Aliens used.... one of the stars on her map wasn't discovered until over 10 years later.


As I've said before i have a friend who is the Asociate Dean of Psychology at a University in So CA...in the past he has had Doctoral Canidates that he oversaw, who have done their research on Alien Abduction. He told me something real has happened to the patients but he's not sure what that is. Meaning he doesn't quiet believe it was abduction.

For me it's entertaining to speculate, however I disengage belief or disbelief and keep an open mind on the subject.

When I was a kid the grey's kept walking through my bed room wall, so I called out for the ghost (long story) to chase them away. Ghost trumps alien in the imagination of a six year old.:D

Being let in on a manufactured "secret" is really not empowerment. Are we alone, almost certainly not. Do we have pacts with aliens who have been giving us technology (as part of a nefarious plan for us to be our own undoing) ... I mean come ON.

JTO -- load all yer clips, but you'll probably need them against some terrestrial lunatic who tries to break into your house as he's fleeing "alien abductors" rather than the dangerous "aliens" themselves.
