PG2 - Nurburgring time?

Oh nO! now I am going to have to crush Tyson as well.. hahah!
That's IT!.. I really do need to practice.. I WILL have the fastest time on the BBS!..
Tyson so far from the guys on the BBS it's 8:03:784
but that will fall tonight!
We need tro all log on at the same time and have a race with one another around the "RING" in the 73's or GT3's..
Now that would be FUN!!!!!!!!!!

what does it take to log on together? dsl/cable? got that... any other hardware? Is there a site for this? I have yet to try the network thing w/ video games.

I'm really curious how the cars "behave" compared to Gran Turismo. Damn this office clock is slow...

Dave you need an xbox live account, and a ethernet connection for you xbox into a hub or router...really simple and a blast to race PG2 online.
I am working on getting a DSL connection so I can get back on.

I'm down for some bbs racing.

But do realize I posted the 8:03:784 on my second try.

tip: if you see white smoke, you're doing something wrong, going in to the turn too fast or braking and turning at the same time

for the best results, brake then turn, accelerate after the apex and coast through it if you have too, it's still faster than crashing, or going off course.

I am down to 8:14.834....
that was 7 seconds off my last fastest lap..
that was done in 30 minutes of driving.. so by tonight the time of 8:03:784 will FALL!!!!!!!!

I knew I could go faster but not by 5 seconds!

ok, I don't know about you guys, but I can't seem to be able to run on ther 'Ring. I've earned enough *kudos* to get my 2.7 but I'm stuck doing the lame race series.

I just got past the "SUV" series and am on my "Pacific Muscle" series...then there is the "roadster series" and after that "classic" etc. Which races unlock the 'Ring? (I am winning all my races, but it's taking so long just to get the track) I tried under time attack mode and car challenge too, neither of them give me the 'Ring. Yet.

Am I on the right path, or is there some shortcut?

Dave go to time attack.. it'll let you race on the ring.. don't enter a series race... just do a time attack.

I had a great run going that would have had me at the 8:07 and some change.. but I blew it!!!!!!!!! dammit!.
I came in drifting abit and caught a rear wheel off on the dirt and it whip snapped around and put me into the wal. the dream was crushed!.. bt there is ALWAYS TONIGHT!. another full "ring" attack is scheduled! hahaha

duh... I think I've figured out my problem. I was just racing the game, not doing the "live" thing. (was too lazy to register, just wanted to get in and drive) I'll sign on today, and I'm assuming the tracks are all unlocked online.

BTW, pg2 veterans, do you remember what does it take to unlock the 'Ring anyway? Is it more of how many races you complete or how many points you earn? Neither?
