Newcastle and Stella Artois are my two favorites. I usually like to keep a variety in the fridge though. Just got a case of Becks (on sale) for the poker game tonight.

Westvleteren, made by monks in Belgium, $175 per case. I had my last one Sunday night at Watkins Glen @ 10:00 p.m. after everyone else in the world left.
But a good beer that most people can get is Victory Old Horizontal Barley Wine.

I'm particularly fond of a nice German Hefe Weisen, lemon on the glass...especially on a hot day.
otherwise, Warsteiner, then Sheiner Bock For guzzling I'll go with: Quote:

I grabbed a six pack of "Censured" ale from the specialty store for a party a couple of weeks ago. Blind guess. I'm not a connoisseur of brewskis, but it was quite good. Hecho in Petaluma as I recall. Give it a try.

Guinness in the can with the widget, Boddingtons in hte can with the widget, or Newcastle. Strangely, I've been feeling nostalgic and missing my father lately, so I've had a few Millers as well... they were his favorite.

Homebrews, Microbrews, and then Sam Adams - probably though not necessarily in that order.
For Micros, I love the Belmont Strawberry Blonde (sounds girlish, but it's GREAT on a hot day), the local Rock Bottom's "Samurai", etc. Fave Belgian is the Drayman's Porter - try it. You'll thank me.
