I hope you're joking, you do the math.

BlueBullet thanks for your opinion, I am sure everyone agrees the 944 and a Dodge Colt are better cars.

Congrats! Nice car, and just about the only thing that might get my wife out of her S4 (someday).

Don't worry too much about the gearbox. It's actually quite durable if not abused. For a laugh, go over on NASIOC and read the whiny *****es complain about their stripped second gears. Then you find out they're 19 years old and/or drive all day every day like they're a cross between Colin McRae and Vin Diesel. Kinda hard to blame the hardware when you abuse it like that. Are you a grown-up? Know how to drive stick? Then you won't have any problems.

Don't knock what bluebullet tells you. He works on Scoobies for a living.

In all seriousness, the WRX is one of the best bang-for-the-buck cars on the market. Just don't go dropping the clutch...

Oh, and btw...the 944 IS a better car...........

.... better than a 911L!

I was thinking WRX, just thought I would see how this ended up.

The only problem is the engine is in the front.

One year term driving results are requested, will you still love it?

The new Legacy realy look anonymous, kind of a mix between a Sentra and an Accura.

I've had my wrx for 2 yrs and i still love it. Shares duties with the 914 as daily driver. As far as transmission it has 55 k miles, some AutoX and hard driving and still runs great. some people were saying that the trans went out because of the heat, but i live in the hottest place on earth and no problems

Congrats - and thumbs up for admitting it on what has to be the most Subaru hostile/envious forum on the net.

Thinking of the 05 STi myself.

I was looking at an 2.5 GT Limited the other day. I dig it. Hauls ass and a kick to drive... Nice.
