That's such a great phrase, "I'm JUST sayin'" You can say nearly anything and pass it off. as in:

"Hey, I really like that car, I'm JUST sayin' it looks like a POS"

"No really, you look great, I'm JUST sayin' you could lose a few pounds."

It's the soap of conversation, it cleans all....

Had a guy in a Acura try and run into me yesterday.

Three lane road, he is a half a car length ahead of me, in the right lane, I am in the left lane. The center lane is empty. His lane becomes a right turn lane, so instead of moving into the empty middle lane, he does a fast & furious lane change into my lane. His rear wheel was even with my front wheel.

Thank God for 911 brakes. If I was in my truck, I probably would have got hit.

So yes, I hate it when people are stupid.

I hate it when I pass someone in the hallway who, just as we're passing, says "How ya doin?" or "Howz it goin?" Why can't people say "hello" or "good morning?" I should help them with this problem by making a logical reply. Something like "Do you mean physically, emotionally, personally, or do you mean professionally?" Or maybe "I'm glad you asked. I had trouble sleeping last night. Woke up at 12:30 and had a glass of milk but that upset my stomach. So, I'm tired. But I'm looking forward to the weekend because I have planned a......."

You know...

My ex-friend started (or maybe I just picked up on it when I started looking for an out) saying "You know" so I would start answering "No. I didn't know" or "No I wasn't there" etc...

I used to hate it when I was stupid, but now I'm kind of getting used to it . . .

You know, I used to say "you know" a lot. Know what I mean? Then I had a job that involved plenty of public speaking. What I found is that in public speaking, the slower you speak the better. I also found that silent pauses make you actually seem smarter and more confident. "Ummmm's" and "you know"'s have the opposite effect.

Ed Koch holds the record for the most "uh"s in a sentence spoken on live TV, I think...

I think that smiling or chuckling aloud during speeches makes people sound intelligent.

I think Valley Girls have had the single largest influence on American English in the last 20 to 25 years.

Hehehe; at my last job we made extensive use of AOL Instant messanger. We were engineers distributed all over the country so it was easier and cheaper than phoning around...

Well - I used to always be like "What up G!" when ever someone would IM me or I would IM them.

One day we have a meeting where we a bunch of us were together and I get introduced to this Engineer from Texas and he says to me man...I thought you'd be black. =-) I say to him "I'm only half black - the lower." and grinned. My buddies busted up and frankly I was pretty proud of my humor to and still am.

"Basically..."

Basically what? Basically you're an idiot that needs to try to distill things down the the base form(at) 'cause you can't understand complex algorythms?

People can't write. They can't spell. They wouldn't know good grammer if it bit them on the a$$.

I've gotten emails from CEO's, CIO's, VP's and Pres. and high level managers of large (Fortune 500) companies that make me blanche reading them.

And you wanna be my latex salesman?
