pretty sad. he grew up in the bay area. i wonder what "caused" his heart to fail, being that he'd just gotten out of jail? maybe the reintroduction to the glass deek?
i hope there is some of his money left to help in the raising of his 3 young daughters.

What a complete waste of an incredible athlete. Maybe he will live on as a constant reminder to the younger guys coming up how drugs can destroy your career and end your life. Sad!
