What is the Left's fascination with Rove?

It seems irrational. Everything is blamed on Rove that can't be blamed on Bush or Cheney. I can't find anything the man has _actually_ done. What's the deal?

He is the author of Bushs attack mode speaches and tactics. Karl also went after McCain in 2000 big time and so is subject to the "Lefts" ire.
Karl has singlehandedly bought campaigning tactics to new "Lows".

Karl Rove is the manager of all white house and slipstream media (Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Drudge) 'talking points.'

He redefines 'dirty tricks,' having masterminded, as Bleyseng mentioned, the defeat of McCain with a 'whisper campaign' in the primaries.

You may be right. THough I have noticed that the lib's are exceedingly quick studies, there. They have really embraced his methods, and magnified them 10 fold, or more. Really left him in the dust.

Just look at CBS (okay, they got busted(and blamed it on Rove) ) But then there is PBS's FRONTLINE -- "Election2004" . ..What a subversive twisted hit-piece, on Bush .. . and fluffing kerry. which they play every night on their HD channel. (dont know about regular channels)

The propoganda war is being owned by the Lib's. The only thing holding them back are their candidates.

Rove was almost certainly behind the CBS brewhau, but he did play Rather (and everyone else) like a b!tch. He is an evil genius, but a genius just the same.

That said, any compaign manager worth their salt at the national level these days knows how to play dirty. It's the NFL, not little league.
