What do you think, going to replace the Accord with it.

I checked it out for the GF. Nice car.

But she ended up getting a Lexus IS300, which is not selling as strongly -- so there are some pretty strong deals available.

Michael,

Have you looked at an Audi A6 or VW Passat. The new A6 is a beautiful car. The Acura is a cool car also, I sat in one last night at the Autoshow, it is a comfortable car but I have grown accustomed to German automobiles.

I would get a WRX STi as my daily driver if I "had" to get a Jap car. That thing kicks butt!!

I guess I'm totally clueless about new cars these days. I look at the pic & have absolutely no idea what brand it is, let alone the model

Chris,

How was the auto show, was thinking about going in the am? The new A6 loaded is like 50K, is there a new Passat?

Chris,

I went to the auto show and you are correct on the A6, but 55K.

I really like the FX35 by Infiniti, so I will test drive one on Saturday.

I know the A6 is a bit pricey especially for a daily driver. Infiniti makes good cars but their service in my opinion is scary. My cousin bought a G35 brand new and for the first year he had a loaner car for about 9 months. Everytime he went in for something small, they made a problem bigger. They scratched his doors, dented trunk so on so forth. His experience could be one in a million but something to be aware of. Someone else on the board just bought the FX35, probably some pictures here.

I enjoyed the autoshow, I was hoping to see more of 997s but they told me all the US ones have been sold and signed for already. I was going through sticker shock when I saw the $103,000 VW though. I believe the VW Jetta/Passat get redesigned for the 06 model. Are you going to buy or lease? I am assuming buy because of the daily driver. Just a couple of thoughts.

Have you looked at a VW R32? Or do you have a large family to drive around?

I need a four door, would love a two door, but with kids and co-workers it gets a little hard.

2 of my coworkers have the TLs, I haven't heard anything bad about them. As I work with a bunch of computer geeks, the blue tooth phone interface and dolby surround audio system get major thumbs up.

Is that Japanese for Rice Burner? Or does that mean "sendem jobs offshore". Japanese is such a difficult language to master with all it's nuances and inflections...

I think most Hondas are made in Ohio. Then there's Toyota in KY, BMW in South Carolina, Mercedes even makes the M-class here somewhere - but hey, why interrupt a rant with facts? Sorry, go on...
