A great sign...

Driving down the road on friday, it was nice and sunny, warm out and everything... turn onto main street and there are 3 *******s with cowboy hats on(no lie) holding up bush signs. After driving by and looking at them like they are worthless peices of ****, I went about my business. The next day, it was raining, cold, and just generally not a good day to be outside.. I drive by the same place, and the whole block is filled with people holding up kerry signs. I felt so good, it was a very unifying experience. Now, Kerry is not that much better than Bush, but then again, a 3 year old would be a better president than Bush.

Seriously....I don't get it. Why would 3 people with cowboy hats with Bush signs on a sunny day be any less unifying than a bunch of folks withouit cowboy hats standing in the rain with Kerry signs? Is it the cowboy hats or just sympathy with the morons who scheduled their demostation for the rainy day?

Wow - I'd better be sure not to wear my cowboy hat around you, Clowd. I wouldn't want to be looked down upon by the owner of an '87 944.

Does it say something, though, that one group is in the sun and the other in the rain? I dunno...

"After driving by and looking at them like they are worthless peices of ****, I went about my business." I'm happy for you that you able to compose yourself under such trying circumstances. A Liberal in Florida had a similar situation before him last week and decided to aim his car at the Replublican crowd and give them "a little scare".

lmao but seriously, inclement weather is notoriously bad for Dems, as voters for the Democratic party seem to stay at home more than Repub voters in bad weather

dont look now cow, but the OT republian party rep b.thompson is a 944 guy. you'd think the tax bracket a republican supporter would reside would allow for 911 $$. or could the "911=small member" rumors hit too close to home? ronin, you would think it would be opposite, the repubs usually have on expensive suits and fur.... i guess overcoats and umbrellas work better than us libs' bike to work sort of life...

no matter what your view we should all be able to remain civil to each other. No matter which guy wins, the country is not going to go to s**t. If you think that you have too little faith in the strength in our country. I for one, will be glad when this election cycle is over.

I don't think you understand.. It was unifying because it shows me that maybe there is a chance, maybe there are people with some actual sense in their heads, and maybe I won't have to go and die for a so-called "war on terror" The fact that there were only 3 bush supporters on a nice, sunny day, and there were TONS on a cold, rainy day, shows that maybe the world has a chance.

I was out in a ski club setting with 3 guys and one girl (typical odds) and she was harassing me about my Porsche. I quouted off the above and she immediately turn to the guy on the other side of her and says: "Say, you have one of those big trucks, right?"
