? for FireFox Users - possibly for Wayne too!

I have been using FireFox for almost a year now and love it. I have found a particular problem with this site, and wondered if other FF users experience it. When I browse to the official PP site to search for parts, the screen splits in an odd fashion, and what would normally be the information wanted displays way over to the right side of the browser. I've got a screen snap below. I can't figure out a work-around within FF, and have to open IE (YIKES!) to complete any searches for parts. Anyone else experience this and have a fix?

Mark,
The same thing happens to me. I have to use IE on several sites because of the way FireFox displays data. I'm not blaming FireFox as I think alot of the proprietary display properties are because of the way IE works. I still prefer FireFox (less popups, less spyware, etc...)

Yes, I see that too. Press CTRL+R (refresh) to straighten it out.

same thing, and refreshin' usually helps. if IE would get with the standards, this wouldn't happen.

Unfortunately I switched from Firefox because of this . There were just too many sites that were showing up unreadable for me. The newest version of IE has a very good pop-up blocker though.

Mine does the same thing. Hit the refresh button or just scroll all the way to right. Its not worth going back to IE

I told Wayne about this when we were still on Firefox 0.7, but he said there weren't enough users of it to make it worth his while fixing. This is not the attitude of the enlightened web developer Of course it won't be FF displaying it incorrectly, it will be erroneous or non-standards compliant markup.

Protest!

One of the best things about firefox is the extentions you can add on. I added one so when I right click on a page there is the option of opening it in IE. I think is called "IE View".

If you are having problems with certain sites, get the newest version of Firefox. If that doesn't fix it, download the extension IEView. When you right-click on a link, it gives you the option to open the link in Internet Explorer.
