Canada Border Watch!

I was wondering if the mass exodus of Libs had begun yet. They promised they'd leave ..... but according to this article, it ain't happening.

Here is the problem “ if they're hard-working honest people, there's a process, and let them apply," Immigration Minister Judy Sgro told Reuters

But if they happen to be a robot they may get preferential treatment

Fundamentalist Christians are great; how else are you gonna get all the roads to yourself for several hours every Sunday morning?

Just wondering. What was Tim McVeigh's persuasion?

There were probably a number of Muslims in the Murrah building.

Some think McVeigh was an extreme Christian:
http://www.sullivan-county.com/identity/cal_shoot.htm

Some think McVeigh was an Iraqi agent:
http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=25061

... and a very long treatise by Gore Vidal in 2001:
http://www.isebrand.com/Gore_Vidal_McVeigh_2001.htm
Interesting reading of recent history and how it might relate to current events.

This borders on hijacking the thread. My apologies.

We DID invade! The Canadian army (both guys) crossed the border into Montana just after midnight. Couldn't find a Tim Hortons, figured it was a third world country and returned to base. ;-)

They should have crossed the border in Mich - seems like we've got more Tim Horton's than McDonalds!

I've known a lot of new age, fundamentalist, evangelical Christians and yes I am afraid of their brand of "love" which seems to be really misplaced, narrow and intolerant. It's based mostly on the Letters and very little on the Gospels. What bothers me about this group is that their view of God is very small, insultingly so really, that they place too many human characteristics on their version of God.

When they push their flawed version of God on others, it's a real problem for me.

And you only need to look at the Constitution and the mindset of the framers, what they ran from and fought for, to know that we are in real trouble if the trend continues.

I do see why people voted the way they did given the moral decay of our culture. I've been working on launching G9Girl for the past 5 months, a line of clothing and accessories for tween and teen girls. Having seen the whore-based lines of clothing out there and doing a lot of market research on these audiences, we have good reason to challenge the current social climate.

Faith-based initiatives are important to turn the tide, but they will reach only so many people and can only go so far.

Our primary goal with G9Girl is not to start yet another clothing line, but to actually give girls an alternative to: boys, sex, drugs... anything that ultimately pulls down self-esteem. We are creating an education-based, support infrastructure, one in which girls learn about business by running their own in an Avon-type model, and having fun while doing it. With this comes community, girls helping girls, increased self-esteem, pride in ownership, and achievement, and everything that goes along with these concepts like being better prepared for the future, getting into a better college, having more options in life, not relying on men for self-esteem, etc. Ask yourself: would you rather have your teen daughter learn mentoring, communication skills, leadership skills, business skills, what it takes to be an independent, thinking individual or one that worries about what to wear so the boys in school will look at her.

The messages in teen magazines are terrible and confilcting these days. Teens have no role models. We want to provide those role models, and then make teens role models themselves.

We think this is a better way to change the country. If just one girl goes to college who otherwise wouldn't, or gets into a better school, or just doesn't let herself get pressured into a bad situation, we will call it success. Of course the real goal is for a movement to form organically. Too big? Perhaps, but you can just go to work everyday, scowl at the news and hope things will get better some day.

Clearly I could go on forever, but I hope you've seen my point.

No, we are waiting for you to invade us. Then you can be sure that the Democrats will win the next election. .

Not having met Tim but based on what little I know about the whack job group he was associated with, I'll say Christian. And that proves exactly what? There is a difference here. McVey did not claiming to be "following Jesus' commands." Nor did he try to justify up his actions with quotes from the bible. Nor did he have Christians world wide cheering in the streets for what he had done. In fact, the opposie occurred, Christians were quick to state that, he, his group & their activities were horrible twisted distortions of the religion.

Now let's compare that with the actions of the practicioners of the religion of peace. Mad-men (not 1 mad man) world wide kill tens of thousands of innocents, often using their children as bomb delivery vehicles. They are cheered by thousands as heros of islam & denounced by none. The distinction here is so clear even Ray Charles could see it & he's dead & blind. Swing & a miss 911.
