It's like a dirty diaper, you can smell it, you may even be able to feel it, but some people won't admit it's full until they open it up and see all the sh...............it.:D
I'll take a vacation, sounds good. |
Do a quick comparison of your numbers to those from 2000, you will find that these irregularities are not irregular at all.
Unless ofcourse you believe that one was stolen too.............oh yea, nevermind:) |
It's today that Ohio's Mr. Blackwell gets the formal request for a recount. Did you ever think that would not happen? You can keep your head in the sand a few more weeks, at least until December 6th - see the link below.

It's not that we didn't expect it, it's that we don't care. If it keeps you occupied, live it up. In the end Bush will still have won (just like 2000) and hopefully this crap will have shorter legs when you lose again in '08. Hmm maybe there is an upside! Count away.

Bush lost votes in all hand recounts in 2000 that's why the recounts were stopped by the republican supporters.
Bush will lose even more in Ohio 2004 because of the higher voter turnout. Heck he already lost 4,000 votes from a single voting machine error. No one wants to see a repeat of the 2000 election timeline (not even me)....................................what a freak'n mess, I almost forgot. Six days to count the whole state of Ohio, God pitty them. http://www.usnews.com/usnews/news/election/magtimeline.htm |
FYI: I might drive down from Michigan to Ohio to be a witness at a county board of elections office for the big recount, still waiting to hear back from Dem. H.Q..

My dog won't let go of her bone either.

Not to be a prick or to stir anything up, but seriously out of curiosity:
On a scale of one to ten (ten being the greatest) what chance to you give this recount for changing the results? |

Chances of changing anything? Where was it they had so many problems they are doing the vote over because it was so close? Somewhere west of the Mississippi, can't recall at the momnet. Apparently this election stuff is important to some people. From what I've been told, Ohio is pretty good compared to Florida, but it's no Michigan...............and we have Detroit with it's terrible voting problems. From how things stand, the electronic voting gave Bush an extra 10% (5% to 15%) where used. One third of the votes were counted that way, so that alone could account for victory. It's a court issue, so that will not change the election. The punch cards and opticaly scanned media leave a paper trail, along with the absentee ballots. That part as I understand is what will be recounted. FYI: an unofficial Florida count by a newspaper showed very small error rates and more or less said Dixiecrats vote for republican presidents. Ohio may be a different ball game. Close to 10,000 votes have been corrected/adjusted to get to the current semi-offical counts on hand (all errors so far have favored Bush). It's a matter of couning each ballot one at a time. I'm not giving it any odds on a 1-10 scale, all the votes should be counted. Will we find even more votes locked in bathrooms (as reported)? I don't know, but no one is going to destroy votes if I get a chance to watch. Keeping an eye on the ball - kach22i signing out. |
