Btw, I usually just lurk in OT (too hostile and unyielding most of time), but I have come to the conclusion that Cool_Chick is a Psychology/Sociology candidate, and this is just a provocative form of field research.

Seth,

You bring up a good point. Has anyone seen her 911? Nothing is mentioned on her profile of even having a car...

Makes one wonder...

It's been postulated before, and never disputed...

Nope..been cheated on by my first wife. It hurts bad. I also took a LONG time for me to trust a women in the long term again. I would never do that to someone else. I'm a musician, and working in clubs you get hit on all the time. I have been with Mj for 23 years this month and although it has not always been easy, I would never do the one nighter or any nighter on her. She has been good to me and she doen't deserve that kinda hurt. I couldn't look her in the eye again. just too much guilt involved. What's that old saying?? " No matter how good she looks at the moment, somebody somewhere is tired of her crap" ..truth!

Sebring,

Who knows... hope it was correct. Women mysterious?? She is a girl, and they are just different, otherwise not going to go there...

If so, she has to be ok as a Targa is the best and 72/73 models are even better!

Supposedly cheating and/or spontaneous sexual activity happens most often around the holidays. Wouldn't be suprised considering the basic stress hormonal levels etc, etc....

It's too easy to say men cheat out of instinct or physical release, and women out of love or manipulation. There's alway much more than that.
Men and women play each others "games", sometimes even better, and crossover roles of dominance vs. free-ride change.

Hmmmm..... statistics say that over 50% of both sexes in marriage have had an affair during the marrige. No demographics on the cheaters.

No one here has admitted to cheating, or I missed it while reading the thread just now for the first time.

And OPSlacker says it'd be different if a vote didn't have a name next to it? Is he referring to a poll? Where do you see the voters' ID's?

I was living with and engaged to a girl who was very promiscuous. I found this out after she'd left me with no notice or obvious problems in our relationshiop. Fortunately I didn't catch anything from her.

I'd never do that to anyone. My wife knows that any infedelity won't be forgiven... ever. It amazes me when someone has an affair and the couple stays together. I've told my wife that if she needs someone other than me, leave me first and I'll respect her 1000 times more than if she were to do anything behind my back.

what the article didn't mention is that a woman will marry a logical mate, but it's the dangerous/exciting/ illogical male that'll get them wet.

"No one here has admitted to cheating, or I missed it while reading the thread just now for the first time."

No, but I'm usually "the other guy". After getting married, most women find out it's not the fairy tail they've dreamt it would be. These disenchanted creatures are actually much, much easier to lay than single chics.

"Hmmmm..... statistics say that over 50% of both sexes in marriage have had an affair during the marrige. No demographics on the cheaters. "

That sounds about right, confirms my personal experience.

Damn, you're observant.

I don't remember that being part of my profile tho....if I deleted it, I don't remember, but you're good!

Now that I think about it, I think I mentioned it in a thread about guns a long time ago.

I call it porsched by injection

CC,

Not many ladies on the Pelican BB and not many of stand on their own in the OT area.

Hope he lets you drive the car! I had a problem like this years ago with my now ex-wife. She kept needling me about driving the 911 so I finally relented. The car was a early model and at times needed some TLC to keep it running, and I did not look forwards to the call at 0500 saying "I am due in the operating room in 10 minutes and how in the hell do I get it do stop doing *** " but she did fine.

Got the call about a month later from her while she was at a local car dealership. "Found a very nice 1981 silver Targa" that you need to come down and look at... The rest is history and we bought the car the next week.

Would not believe the response she got from people in that car. She was a cute blonde in a 911 with the top off driving around Germany and it turned heads... You should try it course the Windy City in winter is not real fun in winter with the top down!

Going back to the original topic:
The question is not if I could, it's what went wrong that I would want to. OR what am I doing wrong that my husband would want to.

I think it's a male's responsibility to ensure the female feels safe and sexy. The female's responsibility is to respect the man and love the boy in him. The rest should be entertainment, whatever it may be. That, imo, is the foundation for any relationship.
