beer memorabilia

Anyone here collect beer memorabilia? I was repairing the frame of this original circa 50's print that was given to me years ago.

and underneath the front poster was this:

not exactly a lost Picasso, but an unexpected find. Jax Brewery was located in New Orleans. I'll hang them in our wine shop cafe.

That top poster is great. I'll bet there's a market for it, but all I can think of at the moment is eBay.

there was a detachable inner frame I removed and beneath the top print was the other. I guess back then they would change the outside prints on a regular basis. the inner one was stapled in place and the outer one just held in place by the inside frame. I've had it for 10-15 years and never knew. I've contacted a couple collectors and they had never seen one of these. both guys wanted it, but I think I'll keep it. one guy knew the year just from the beer cans! 1952-1953

I have a fairly unusual 'beer collectible' myself: an original, never-mounted 30-sheet (outdoor billboard) for Olympia Beer, from about 1978. Probably the best possible buyer would be a movie set director..

I'm not a collecter, except for things I find digging pools like old bottles and other junk. I do have an old stock certificate for a railroad and one for a mining company from 1905-07 found in the wall of a house I need to frame. those are quite interesting athough no one can tell me anything about them. I can't find out anything about the beer prints on the internet either. maybe I'll visit the Jax brewery museum in New Orleans and inquire.

I have an old Utica Club(upstate NY beer) thermometer in my paint booth here in New Mexico. Found it at a local yard sale...kinda strange as I'm originally from Cooperstown NY...think I'll clean it up and take it home

Very nice beer print. I used to collect beer cans and other related memorabilia. I probably have about 150+ before I stopped. I have alot of Pittsburgh brewing, Erie Brewing, and Stroh's signs, promo itmes, etc. One day i will dig everything back up and display it like it should be.
