LubeMaster, you might be surprized to find out what occupations are the most dangerous. for example, "messenger courier" tops many lists.

Dantilla, with all due respect (and I think there is indeed mutual respect between us...at least there is here), you will not convince me that it's okay to work 30' in the air without fall protection. It's just not okay to be up there and not tied off, whether you want to risk it or not. In Washington State the answer is "no," and I am comfortable with that. Now, if you want to suggest something that is safe and not bulky, more convenient, whatever, then that's what rule hearings are for. Again, with all due respect, you may feel comfortable walking the 6-inch "freeway," but it's not okay. Call me every name in the book if you like. In my state it's not okay to kill yourself deliberately, or foolishly. Call me a stinking liberal who supports over-regulation. fine. You and others like you are going to stay alive whether you like it or not. Not negotiable.
