My first thought, what if I caught them on something while standing?!

All I can think of when I look at that picture is getting those things ripped out of my nose by some freak accident. Count me out and put me in the "this is a stupid idea" camp

Perhaps somebody should tell the poor lad about contact lenses?

Ya know, I've accidentally bumped into things with my glasses. It didn't hurt. Maybe skewed the glasses a bit. With these?

If they're pierced into his head, why does he need the nose feet also? You'd think one uncomfortableness would be enough.

I'm guessing that there is only one bar gount through his nose. that bar (at the top of the glasses) would have a loop or closed hook of some type. The glasses are then hung on the hook and rest on the nose pads.
The hook would also have a square edge to alow some directional control of the glasses. Useing this method the glasses would be easly removable (with just the nose bar left in place) and they would probbly easly come off if you banged them. you could have multiple sets of lenses / sunglasses. I doudt i would use a set tho.

cool, get those lenses tinted and you can "tilt" them up indoors by just pivoting them via the shaft! unless you are a badass, and you order the shaft, splined.
