I know OLD Post!

I just wanted an update …I have a 75' 911s and a 78' SC that I was thinking about selling (or making a fun car out of) and this Guy has been pretty persistent asking to view the cars after I sent a Vin pic. So before I call him out or invite him to my house is this the same guy?
Thanks for any info.

No idea but it may be a good idea to take some photos and put them on the marketplace section of the forum and ask for opinions before selling.

The email address is the give away. Ac engines is the "business" operated by Rich, Wayne, Krieger, or whatever alias he uses. Stay far, far away!

JeffShoots 06-11-2017 01:40 PM

Thank you both.
If I sell the cars I'll post them here …but I've always wanted an RSR clone and found a black on black 75' 911s with no sunroof.

So you will probably see me around more.

SpawnyWhippet 06-11-2017 05:01 PM

Don't trust that man at all. Don't let him anywhere near your cars.

regency 06-11-2017 08:30 PM

Yes, I agree with SpawnyWhippet, stay away from that dude.

PETALUMA (CBS SF) — A Marin County resident, wanted in connection for allegedly stealing classic Porsches in the Petaluma area, was taken into custody on a cruise ship docked in San Francisco, an arrest that has led to the discovery of illegal chop shops in Sonoma County and San Francisco.

Petaluma police said investigators received a tip that 71-year-old Novato resident Wayne R. Krieger was the cruise ship as it was docked on Nov. 27. He had been wanted since 2019 in connection with theft charges of three classic Porsche sedans.

Aided by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers, a Petaluma police detective boarded the ship, located Krieger and placed him under arrest.

No information has been released as to the name of the ship or its destination.

Investigators were able to gather enough information from Krieger to seek search warrants for locations in Santa Rosa and Novato.

Assisted by the Sonoma County Auto Theft Task Force, search warrants were obtained and executed on November 27th and 30th.

One of the stolen Porsches was discovered at a location in Santa Rosa and one in Novato. In both locations, there was evidence of other possible stolen vehicles, vehicle parts, fraudulent registration paperwork, and materials to counterfeit vehicle identification numbers.

Both locations appeared to be operating as illegal chop shops where suspects engage in disassembling motor vehicles and alter identification numbers to possibly sell the vehicles as part of interstate or foreign commerce.

Cannot believe that its taken this long to get him behind bars. I was part of a group who went after him and we helped one guy get some of his parts and such back but he was slimy enough that he was never prosecuted fully.

They have been looking for him since 2019 and Thank God that they finally caught him. Hope he rots in prison for years to come!
