Then there are our friends in Downy. I wonder if they are dripping oil, grease and various pollutants into our rivers?

Fugeddaboudit! I was Kriegered in the early 80s. He parted out my 912 (really a worthless rustbucket) and disappeared with my deposit. The S.F. DA's office couldn't be less interested. I filed a complaint with the Mayor's office of consumer fraud. They sat on it for a year after which time they dismissed it - statute of limitations expired.

It was easy winning a case against him in Small Claims court. In fact I won two - both default judgements because he never showed up. Luckily, I was able to recover most of my money. Not from him directly but as a business loss. That's why I went through the Small Claims circus.

By the way, check out the public records in the San Mateo County DA's office in Redwood City. He's also a convicted drug dealer. Scumbag!

randywebb 12-22-2004 11:46 PM

I'm not thinking of the DA. I'm thinking of a citizen's suit. The public can enforce the pollution laws .... and I have a bunch of friends who do just that as lawyers.

yekim 12-23-2004 12:16 AM

Good luck! This guy could be considered a form of pollution. Anything to keep other people from being swindled is a good thing.

JdBuyer 12-23-2004 12:27 PM

Can someone please explain why this dirtbag is still in business if he has lawsuits and people after him for ripping people off? If he did that to me I would take the legal route that could hurt him the most, or do it old skool style.....beat down...in no way I agree with harm , but some people need some sort of warning ....

notfarnow 12-23-2004 12:36 PM

If Pelican has a "positive feedback" list in their classifieds section, would it be pushing it to have a "beware of" list as well? It would be very useful, as there seems to be a few of these turds around that make a living by ripping off a lot of people ONCE.

The Bureau of Automotive Repair- regulatory agency in California, only has power over REPAIR businesses. They do not have power over restoration or custom shops- though they should. This is the loophole B2Bfst falls into, so the BAR cannot intervene on the consumer's behalf. Wayne has had many suits, judgements against him- he has nothing in his name so that is a wild goose chase. IF 4 or more people, that feel they have been wronged by him, get together with evidence to that effect; then the d.a. will most definitely go after him. That is the same problem with Noel Ambrosio down in the So cal area. not enough of you have taken the time to get together and pursue it.
we have several clients that have been had by each one of these guys (whose cars we subsequently fixed) - Some have gone after noel, some have not
best wishes

I cross posted this to the 356 list.....rumor has it there are three or more lawsuits pending NOW...another rumor has it that Krieger may be facing eviction due to this thread and the issues of his background.

So....something is coming of this...he will have to find a new space, you can see him when he moves after b eing served by the County Marshall.....

bikeboneyard 12-23-2004 02:01 PM

who else has beefs with wayne??? please email me. a collective would be more effective.

ty901 12-23-2004 02:28 PM

a lively thread is here;

http://d240157.u39.zeonhost.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3924&page=4&pp=15&highlight=born2 bfast

read through it for more "business" names, Ebay ID's, history etc. there is a party on the 356 Talk list who's been actively seeking folks to join his suit.

Sort of reminds me of the Noel Ambrosio situation. Did anyone ever catch that guy?

makaio 12-23-2004 06:19 PM

Someone should kick this guy a$$!

Cliff, if I lived in the Bay Area I would ride shot-gun with you to visit him.

pjv911 12-23-2004 07:33 PM

Did you find your car ?

Kurt Williams

randywebb 12-23-2004 08:53 PM

Guys like this just poison the atmosphere for all us - car owners, manfs., wholesalers, retailers, small time developers, etc. (and a given person could be in several categories). We all like the cars, and should be able to mutually benefit each other.

I'm for getting the parasites out of the system with whatever antibiotics are needed....
