Angry POS Oldsmobile wont start

This morning i went out to start my car (1992 Oldsmobile Achieva S) and the ingnition wont budge at all. Its not frozen. It turns backwards to turn on the battery but not forward to start the engine. Wont move an inch. Its pissing me off because we're selling it soon and it would help if it started. Does anyone know what this is caused from??? I need feedback please!

Maybe it's the steering wheel lock?.. wiggle the wheel while you try to start it. Hope that does it.

You have to jiggle the key a little bit and then pull the steering wheel at the same time to unlock. Tricky but possible. My Chevy Celebrity used to do the same damn thing. Make sure your keys don't have 200 keys on it because it wears on the ignition.

It's the lock cylinder... pretty common on GM cars...
