The Neocons....Wolfowitz, Perle.....had a hard on for Sadam since 1991...and had drawn up plans to get rid of him....it took 911 for their chanch to put those plans into operation. They including Rumsfeld wanted to do Iraq before Afganistan...The DOD had NO operational plans to invade Afgan....it was only when the CIA said thay had a paln that Rummy stepped in and said...OH Yeah I got this Delta Forces that can help do the job with the N Alliance...Bush then decided to do Afgan first and put Iraq on the back burner for awhile.

I think the reason for removing Sadam boils down to the fact that nobody likes him...he's a meance...a thorn in the side....and everybodys better off without him...to a degree I would say he was an example....one that Kadifi sure paid attention to.

Ohhh one other thing...Everybody is saying WMDs this WMDs that...they were only .a Selling point......Can't you boyz STOP BEGING FIXATED on WMDs.....and see the broader picture...Sadam on a whole was a Menace that everybody is better off being rid of....he was a thorn in the side of the USA...

WMDs is like the TITLE of a greatest hits CD..but what the CD really is, is a bunch of songs/reasons packaged under the label of WMDs.

Answer the following question truthfully:

Do you still beat your kids?

I do not think, in our lifetime, we will ever get a complete answer to why we (the U.S.) did what we did. There is far more to the story than we have been privy to. Simplistic slogans and jingoism appeal to the emotions, not to the real world.

Iraq was Israel's largest threat. Israel should be on the poll (althought I doubt many people would vote for it).

PIIIE.....

Brigs to mind the (very) small hamlet called "Pietown" in New Mexico.

Good pie at the one restaurant (a very generous use of the word)
