I don't mind, in fact ,I enjoy the liberal input, but why do they always start sinking to condescending elitest overtones to their arguments.Do they think this is their trump card? I frequently come away from reading their input thinking that they must see me as Jethro Bodine complete with an arsenal of assault rifles and confederate flags in the back of my raised four wheel drive truck with a Bible in the glovebox.

From reading liberals around the web, it seems the attitude is that if you don't think, act, or feel exactly like they do you're labeled as ignernt or stoopid. Of coure they'll throw a "closed-minded" in there too. :rolleyes:

Having lived for some time in Van. WA for quite some time, and now in SC for a couple years, I've found that there are far more of those who would be labeled "redneck" up there. Then you throw in the hippies, tree-huggers, and snake worshippers and we get to a point where we need to talk about glass houses and stones. I've lived down here almost 3 years now and have yet to see anything resembling the bible-toting, gun rack in the truck, confederate flag waving redneck. Heck, there aren't even any "colored only" drinking fountains and bathrooms here. Well maybe I lied a little, as all of those stereotypical things that most liberal rant against can be seen here if you happen to watch alot of the TV and the other dribble that flows out of liberal Hollywood.

I've come to the conclusion that most liberals live in a very small and secluded world, and that their view of the world comes from the boob tube and the internet ("I saw it on the 'net; it must be true"). Me; I'll take reality, thanks.

Hey, the solution is real simple: the dems must not sit still for the next 4 years. Instead, they need to:
1. keep President Bush accountable for his actions.

2. get involved with the legislative process

3. find a candidate for the presidency that will be more effective than Kerry was.
