I have to assume that, except in the most egregious instances, you'd get warnings before being banned.

I have no warnings yet, and if I made it through this last election season w/o getting banned, I feel pretty safe ... not quite "tenured university prof that can only be fired for rape* in the classroom, during class time" safe, but pretty safe.

*EDIT -- I'd initially written "sodomy" instead of rape, but I imagine that at some UC "schools", sodomy would be OK.

I actually thought of getting a tattoo on my a$$ that said "Exit Only"!

Dunno whether it's my longevity here or not, but I have yet to get even a warning. Truth is, I believe it's not because I didn't deserve one once or twice.

Yeah, I've wondered, at times, how close to the edge I'm treading.

I have been suspended twice on the Early Registry Board

I have been admonished so many times on the Registry that I have lost count

You've been admonished WAY more than twice here, tabs. Each of us has admonished you several times. Heck, if there was an Admonishment Hall of Fame, the annual grand prize would be called the Tabs Award. It would look like a shrimp, or maybe a prime rib.

not even an admonishment. I consider myself lucky, as I do not think that not having been taken to task by the powers-that-be makes any of my earlier diatribes acceptable. on the contrary, I just consider it having had the opportunity to learn for myself when enough is enough

A lady at a Wal-Mart customer service desk, trying to return a sale item was told she couldnt return it. She threw her arms in the air, screaming: "Pinch my nipples". The clerk tried to expalin again, no return, no exchange. Again, the threw her arms in the air, screaming "Pinch my nipples!". This is drawing a crowd, of course, so the clerk called the manager. The manager explained. Again, arms in the air: "PINCH MY NIPPLES!". The manager asked why she was screaming this..."Simple", she replied. "I like to have my nipples pinched when I'm being screwed."

Never piss on the Fire or PD....you won't hear the end of it....
